Alzheimer's and Special Care
At Center Ridge Health Campus we understand the special needs of residents and families struggling with the effects of Alzheimer's disease, strokes, and other illnesses that can impair cognitive ability. We've designed our memory support unit to meet those needs and to provide a flexible and secure living environment for residents with memory disorders who can enjoy the freedom of walking safely around the unit at their leisure.
Promoting Mental Wellness
Memory boxes located outside of each room can be filled with photos and other meaningful mementos in an effort to promote recollection. We offer a range of activities specially designed to involve and stimulate our residents in a pleasing, homelike environment. All staff members are individually selected to care for this special group of people and have received specialized training on caring for residents with cognitive impairments.
